Thanks. You do offer a unique perspective.

What is interesting to me is how aggressive a few of these companies have been in retiring shares. AVT, FLE, LIZ all seemed to be going strong on this even before prices were reduced. Note to all: I seem to suffer from a combination of Attention Deficit Disorder and Senility, so please don't take my word for this.

Now for the wild idea that has been plaguing me for a week or so: I think that Xerox (XRX) should buy Adobe (ADBE). Xerox is making a big push into the home office market, Adobe's stuff is used predominantly there, they seem to have similar cultures, and the MAC connection is almost funny. Imagine the leg up XRX would have over HWP in that market if they could bundle ADBE products.
