I don't think this is a buying opportunity yet based on the the way the tech leadership is buckling.

True. And llama said it well, this is a total market meltdown we're in and does not validate the bear argument against AMZN. Just as a rising tide lifts all boats, so a stampede indiscriminately squashes everything in its path.

Still, looking at the 5 minute chart for AMZN, one can see a decided acceleration in the selling.

I also agree with Craig, if I were to buy anything today it would be something of quality.
