Barbara J Payne - Why the incredibly patronizing attitude? Mr. Pink's call was absolutely correct - whether luck, analysis, or other. Either way, he should be congratulated. I have no stake in MRVC but am trying to do some general fact gathering concerning this company.

What are you opinions on MRVC? Isn't that the reason this thread was created. Your attitude toward these other investors, especially on a day like this, is disgusting and shows a true lack of class...

Barbara, I am not long or short MRVC. I have been long a few times in the past. the chart patterns have looked why to horrible for the past 6 months. But I would not short a networking stock with all the takeovers and fundemetallly I have a high perception of MRVC.

As far as PINK is concerned his remarks have been inflammatory and without substance, I tried to skip as many of his posts as possible, I felt the were and still are non value added.

As for MRVC they have close to $8.50 in book value most of which is cash ~$4.00. I think this company has six months to turn it around or else it will have to be sold. Maybe LU or NORTEL will take pitty and gobble them up.

sorry, you have a weired way of putting things: Pink says salesmen are leaving in droves, stated as a fact. That is negative information if true and has a bearing on the potential for success. Others did disprove the truth of his statement. Other innuendoes and claims were made, all with the same potential effect.

When shown that something was both injurious and false at the same time that is called libel and damages may be claimed.

So far Pink's reasons for MRVC's anticipated fall have failed to materialize; other factors have and here's the unhappy result. Let's find a way for Pink to connect the dots between his claims of cooked books and outrageous accounting practices and yesterday's announcement re slowing sales in Europe and delays in new product introductions. Let him prove that the statements were false. Then I'll say he's due something other than congratulations for blind luck. Thus far his statements are still false and unproven.
