Hello All:
Gut reaction-- moderate rise mid-day as yesterday, followed by more selling to sideline for the weekend. Anyone thinking there will be a buying rally to tide folks over in positions for the weekend? My assertion would be caution is growing and some element of risk aversion is growing in recent trading, e.g., 'buy the dips' is not so prominent now. Volume looks like it could be up as occurred yesterday (Thursday). Heavy selling volumes I take to mean strength toward downside moves. Too early for a bear market. The bubbles have not shown bursting action (lacking the astonishment and disbelief factors -- the element of surprise is not evident).
Best regards,
m
