Alex, We figured out the least bad form of government a long time ago. Unfortunately it exacts certain demands on its citizens, which most of us (including myself) are not willing to live up to. I guess it's all MY fault. I suppose I should crawl off into the corner and flagellate myself in remorse, but it's Saturday morning and I think I'll take Joey paddling instead. He was fondling his fishing rod in a meaningful sort of way earlier, and certain promises were made. Tomorrow will be the excursion to find the mythical upper put-in, the missing link in the Bagsit river kayak run. No computers involved, thank God. Back Monday. Steve
