My opinion on the volume/price decline is two fold. The volume is not terribly high because people dont really want to sell ASND. My belief is that only those who are having to sell are selling, thus the price decline. The Price has been following the tick for the last two days. I have been a buyer of asnd when the tick is coming off of its low. Yesterday as it rebounded off 1850 about 200 points, today off of 1500+- then I wait 200 point. Since I am looking for only 3/4 to 1 1/2 it seems to work. If I get to greedy, ie this am i miss a roll or two. I tend to differ in opinion with Tim, I think 37 was the bottom yesterday. Although I would love to pick up shares sub 35. I think dow has to break 7800 for that to occur. On a positive note, I plan to be fully invested next Friday, day after labor day should start a very positive market. JMHO. As a side note I also picked up some mrvc at 6 3/16 this afternoon too. Heck of a price. Book close to 6 1/4. Cash and equivalents at 6.81, does have 100 million long term debt, but I think we see a dollar rise if not today then on monday. Ted

Have good friend at Lucent and there is still rumbling in the halls about Ascend. In addition heard that ascend turned down $72/share last week from ericcson.
