Sales and earnings growth dropped about four times in four years 1998/1994 - deccelerating rate of about 20% per year. And it was in best possible business conditions, both for the general global economy and for the digital networking industry specifically. Now, that the global economy slows down, and the digital networking industry has grown enough to attract large competitors and most likely resulting price wars - I can't see how even present growth rates and margins can possibly be maintained.

Go back to ALTR thread, 12 - 15 months ago I was there and predicted increasing competition and lower or no growth for these Cos. Look also at their stock price performance since then.
