If the PoG doesn't come back before Christmas '99, I'll be squeegeeing windows down at the corner anyway, I have so many gold stocks. Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb - wim is in the same boat as the rest, it's just higher leverage, that's all.

Check out mfl's recent tanking - now there's no good reason for that, imho - they are debt-free, sitting on cash and metal and quality projects - I guess the only reason is an overwhelming bearish sentiment re gold. Well, that just means it's time to buy, imho.

While I do have reservations about management decisions in the past, yes the hedging programme looks like brilliance in the light of present knowledge. You know, though, that was probably forced on them by the lenders two years ago. But it was very well done, and is saving our butts at this point. And they are cutting costs well - you have to give credit where credit is due.
