Lachesis, cross guaranteeing means that you won't be have one side of the trade closed out due to a drastic change in value. Further, buying power requirements between the accounts is minimized. Waterhouse only requires 5% to maintain a boxed position. The requirement on the first night is I believe 50/35% (50% on one side, 35% on the other).
