<<I would hardly equate lying to save a life with lying about sexual behavior. Nor would most reasonable people>>

While I agree with you, the problem comes with trying to figure out where to draw the line. For example, if Clinton really believes that he is the only one that is in a position to bring about peace in the (fill in the blank) region of the world, and that telling the truth might make it impossible to do so, shouldn't he lie to stay in a position to save the lives of all those people that would otherwise die in a needless war?

I am not saying those were his motivations, but how can we know (he sure isn't going to tell us, and we wouldn't believe him if he did)?

OK fair enough but it proves a point doesnt it?

That there is a case for lying in some circumstances. The question is where do you draw the line on the circumstances. This is a much more difficult question to answer because it is subjective. BTW this is a very serious matter with regards to Monica and has probably affected her entire adult life.

Have no fear, however most here agree with you. And even I admit that this has gotten so out of hand that Clinton is ineffective as a leader.
