I originally thought the same. But I just opened an account with Castle Securities and they don't allow it. I've gotten multiple responses from traders on each side of this one.

How about those of you (seems like almost everyone these days) using RTIII/Terra Nova? Does it allow a trade on the same side of a stock within 5 minutes of a SOES execution? Castle's software actually blocks it.

What I was saying is that you can't use soes for any portion of those orders.
