Jim P., Re:Can you see the fact that it(DELL's strength) is fading ?

Is that what you see when you look at the chart below? Is that what you see when Dell INCREASED margins? I think you need some new glasses! <VBG> Are you trying to imply that in a general market 2-3 day sell-off, Dell can't undergo some profit taking also?

Can you see the fact that (Dell's strength) is fading?

To what are you referring, Jim...

Until today, Dell's stock has performed unbelievable given the overall market performance as of late...Even including today, Dell has performed magnificently...Again, show me a better option in the Naz over the past few weeks....Even Cisco has been equally weak...

If you want to base your judgements (concerning a stock's future direction) based on one day's activity, I think you would be laughed out of any serious conversation...

I will grant you that Dell's stock is not likely to rise 2,600% in the next three years....or even 200% each year......but it will perform much better than most other investment options.....(based on all current information)..that is why I continue to be long...

Keep turning those molehills into mountains...

No, I can't. Can you please point out the facts for this whole thread full of ignorant bulls and longs, myself included?

Jim, the word "strength" is entirely relative . . .

Do some non-stock (product, market share, growth in sales, etc.)comparisons of like companies and see what they're doing in the marketplace. Then look at a stock chart since earlier this year and give up on the day (or even week) view of Dell - then come back and talk about strength. If you want to gamble with shorting Dell, be my guest, and there will be a few days you make a few bucks. But at the end of the year, we should get together and compare results.

Trying hard to keep my tongue.

Mr. K.

jim <<Can you see the fact that it(DELL's strength) is fading ?>> no. you stated earlier that "fear is greater than greed". we should also mention that "knowledge is greater than ignorance."
