GRC --- just dropping in and read your 1st comment. I work with the largest card acceptance corp in the world (not directly related to retail). When a debit card is taken the charge IS immediately withdrawn--- the same time it is verified as a good account etc. I cannot see a method of delaying the time frame esp on a debit. Then the question is "for how long?" -- 10 sec 5min 1 day??? Looking for bottom here and plan on buying Tues after lunh... expecting a rise at that time but will buy as the mkt is in recovery and looking for 15 minimum as a trader but expect to profit that much in short order. It is not as neg as you portray. Paine Webber and others have a great rating... institutions are here. The mkt has kicked everything in the balls but it shall (slowly) return.
