Hello Mr. VanCleave:

I have looked in vain at charts for head and shoulders patterns. Using the Yahoo AMZN chart, please explain the dates that corresponds to what you see as the shoulders and the head portion. Or should I be looking at the chart upside down when I do this?

I think the 40-60 range is quite significant, as I understand there were a half dozen brokerages that issued the 10M shares, and the house interest therefore is around 40+, or heads will roll. It would be a challenge to explain to your boss how you let the house position fall below the market rate of return without covering the house interests. In my estimation the 90-100 range will be a pivotal area for the public, and going much below that, it should start to engage the vital interest of the brokerages that were in at 40 or so.

If I recall, Amazon spends as much in advertising as they have in revenues. Dollar for dollar. What a wash. That isn't business! They also have a pile of AMZN scrip to trade for other business venues, none of which have the qualities of a going concern. Markets have ultimately overcome every cartel in history to my knowledge. The cartel-like holding of AMZN stock therefore has an end, and without fundamentals to prop it. Please explain the head and shoulders picture -- I would like to see it. If the hat fits, wear it. Maybe it fits a cartel...such a nice capper, or is that caper?
Best regards,
m

>> Check out the amzn chart. <<

I have been eyeing the AMZN chart because I have been short for the last 20 points.

Virgil,
Someone showed it to me a few weeks ago (?), also to 60. I didn't pay much attention because many got hurt on AMZN and didn't want to gamble until it really starts to move down. Best luck on Monday.
Have a great weekend,
Marty
