OK, Folks -
We've let TokyoMESS litter this thread all day with his pollution - unchallenged. Now that we've given him all the rope the little weasel could possibly handle, it's time to once again match up his fantasies with market realities. Join me as we once again shred the FUD fog that he lays out:
1. Wednesday afternoon: CMGI ,,sure was a buy at 68 - 69 .. I just didn't see under 68 ,,as I stated this AM .. Message 5593061 Ha! Nice call of the bottom. NOT! If any poor soul listened to your CRAP hype (should I call it "poo-poo" since that's the term you seem to understand/prefer?) he would now have lost a quick 27 percent of his/her money.
2. More nonsense on Wednesday afternoon: Now we all know,,what happenes.. when CMGI survives 69 ,, and market turns upside tomorrow,, Open 72 as usual .. Message 5593511 Whoops! CMGI opens at 67! WRONG AGAIN! Oh, did you say 72 or 52?? Continuous proof that you don't know $HIT about this stock or this market enough to call a price 1 hour out.
3. Making Money?? Hah! What a laugh. Wednesday: Well we held 69 ,,in a shitty market.. got my 8000,,, Thursday: Got 2000 more at 66 1/4 ..
Hope you enjoyed those cashectomy margin calls. I know they made me roar!
4. Listen to the GENIUS's #1 Pick for Storing Money on Wednesday: I reiterate,, in no uncertain terms,,, the priority in this market going forward to 1999 and year 2000 as earnings decline across the sector,, for me,, the best place to put my money is as follows.. Internet. I guess I don't need to explain how the Nets have pretty much led the decline. After all, you point it out the very next day: And who gives a shit ... All nets down ,, AMZN support is 119 .. as all others,, Message 5605082 You pretty much picked THE WORST place to put money for the past two days. THE WORST!
5. Yesterday afternoon: We're getting a short squeeze, according to our own li'l Warren Buffet: Now watch the squeeze and close at 65 - 67 ,, dumb @ss,, hope you bought under 60 ,, Now watch it gap 3 - 4 points near closing.. Message 5604872 The only gap was in your (and I really hesitate to use this word) "logic." Message 5604109 Uh. the only squeeze was on your wallet. And by the way, your prediction was 110 in AUGUST, not "in 1998." Nice try at the revisionist history, however. We almost believe you.
6. Then this morning, Li'l Warren assures one and all that Internet stocks are coming back today. Are these market forecasts, or birthday wishes?? Auto and internet coming back today ,,, Message 5612081
7. This laugher is hysterical: for I am indeed long on CMGI ,, yet also making profit on down side,,, Message 5613143 Psst. You're also losing on the up side.! So you go long and short at the same time? Save yourself transaction costs and don't trade. Oh yeah, if you tell that to the "subscribers" they wouldn't need you, would they. Never mind.
8. I see all the shorts at 49 and 50 got eaten alive... Hah! Shorts have had a FIELD day in this stock since 91 and have made $hitloads of money off of anyone that followed your GENIUS advice ("Buy at 69" But at 64. blah blah blah") And it seems to me that a short position at 50 is FLAT, not a loss! Those facts can be pesky, eh?
9. With 1.6 mill shares traded and holding above 50,, it looks like more buys than sells at this level ..,, I am loading up here,,, Let the dogs yap ,,,
And why - WHY - with such a perfect record of incorrectness, whould we listen to THIS call? You were SO RIGHT every 5 points from 90 on down. But now, this - THIS - will be the bottom. And what you mean to say is, not "Let the dogs yap ,,, " it's "Boy, I wish I could erase all those BS predictions I made on SI!" Message 5615841
10. Ooooooohhhhhhhhh.. I like it when shorts go on a rampage,,, for I have squeezed their balls ,,, many times ,,and I squeeze well ,,, slowly ,, slight of pressure,, in equal dimension,,, build it up to a climax,, then the final ,, squeeeeeeeeeezzzeeee,,,, You must love squeezing your own balls, because you've been telling us all day how you've shorted the stock all day. Hmmm. That could explain a lot! <GGGG>
A final note: Some people have complained that all I do is respond to TMess' crap. Well, there's a lot of it and it's damn near a full time job <GG>.
However, I also made my call as well. My ONE call. The ONE call I never changed. For those of you who didn't see it, it was this:
TMess: Get us some DD or shut up .. Me on AUGUST 3: Given all of the misleading information you've posted, you're the last person on this thread that has the right to call for DD. As for my OPINION, I believe CMGI will steadily erode -- into the 40s before October. I'm looking to take a position at around $42. The underlying company is well run and they have a compelling business model. There's nothing wrong with CMGI -- only something wrong with their stock price, which has simply gotten too far ahead of the company. GCTY is crazy to do an IPO next week in this market, a week before Clinton implodes. And that event is almost fully valued into CMGI price -- the stock market just ain't that inefficient. And if a dreaded correction hits, CMGI with its foundation of stilts could be hit extremely hard. Message 5395836
Naturally, I was blistered for that call: If you do not recognise a buying opportunity here and dream about 42.. you are either a fool or a liar. As for GCTY IPO ,, we will use Aug 10 - 11 as a yard stick for your credibility . Message 5395871 Message 5397021 Well, dude, who's the fool now? We broke into 40s and if bin Laden gives us one more bomb, my buy order executes. OH, and GCTY closed at, what, 22 3/8 - about HALF of what it was 3 weeks ago?
The guy who made the right call was Olu Emuleomo. Dead on correct. Said it loudly in advance and reiterated it. Congratulations on an excellent call. Message 5601792 Message 5604424 Message 5613474
