Dear Howard and Thread: I was wondering, did anyone catch Stanley Druckenmiller, manager of Soros' Quantum Fund and a Soros chief investment strategist, on CNBC yesterday? He seldom gives an interview, especially on television. This, however was a rather lengthy, quality interview with Ron Ansana. It was especially interesting as the camera brought Mr Druckenmiller back to the viewers after a commercial break. Either the cameraman was new to the job, or stumbled or something, because the camera was focused briefly....ever so briefly...on Mr Druckenmiller's feet as he sat there at the table with Ron Ansana....I could not believe my eyes! He was wearing a pair of bunny slippers the likes of which I had never seen before....very business-like soft gray with a subtle chalk pin stripe and a simple gold decoration in the form of the Quantum Fund logo located just between the bunny ears.... Well, anyway...I am just checking in on my friends here after having been away for a while.... Best, Charliss (getting ready to slip on the floppy bunny ears cozy over her monitor for the weekend)
