I dont ignore or rationalize it. I just say it goes on, in fact I have personally been aware of incidences like this in companies where I have worked. In these companies, my experience is (as long as the subordinate is an adult) it is just tolerated. I dont know what to think about any kind of conduct in physical offices, etc. since Im not sure anything went on in anyones office etc (I suspect it, but I dont know). I am amused by the fact that you guys seem to think this is behavior that is not tolerated by corporate america. When Ray Lane (president of Oracle) married a 24 yr old marketing employee of Oracle a few years ago how did that come about exactly? Do you think he met her in a supermarket? (Im leaving Larry off this equation but there are numerous accounts of his escapades you can read about it in business week) Michelle
