Esteban, the "day" part of entered-day merely means that it is a day order as opposed to a GTC order.

The entered part is the status and is what you get when you enter an order when the market is closed. So it would seem to me that it means the order has been received and placed in the system but no attempt has yet been made to execute it in any way. Or at least that is my best guess.

Seeing an order in that state for more than a few seconds while the market is open probably means something is wrong and the order is stuck in some way.
