Great info and footwork guys & gals. If all is to be believed, then this is a false alarm HOWEVER, lets get some verification.>from Ellen<.

ALSO let me say this, I was thinking about takeovers etc.
Hostile and non hostile.
Hostile>probably difficult with poison pill
non-Hostile>Gotta be a high price or a total sell out by management.
Which brings me to how xoma looks as a target.
No patent disputes.
No collaborations or partners to worry about.
Low price.
Big potential.
P3's
Looks like a nice clean target to a suitor.
IMO would have to be non hostile and costly.
Opinions?

Dan,

Excellent leg work. Well done. It's nice to see someone take the time to track something down of this nature and then share it with us.

This is the type of posting we need more of. This particular thread contains more than its fair share of good postings and good posters. One only has to spend some time reading through some of the other threads to appreciate what we have here.

Thanks,

Jack Simmons
