Tim,

My apology for having gloated or, at least, having appeared to have done so.

May I assure you that there would be many opportunities for others to get a full measure of revenge with my current set of holdings.

Nonetheless, I really don't expect a major, lasting improvement in PBP's stock price during the next 5 years. And to survive that long, more financing must be found in not much more than a year at current burn rate.

Good luck,
Ian.

Sorry Guys ...

But I don't see too much on the horizon to keep this from sinking even lower. I'm not being negative ... just a realist. I invest companies to make money! The line of "the science is wonderful and everyone is so dedicated..." doesn't cut for me!

This company is now in the big leagues and has to learn how to play the game - and quick! I made the comment much earlier about receiving the prospectus in a generic brown envelope.

They should have sent out something in the way of a news release by now! How can you expect to increase demand for the stock if no one knows about it.

Tim,

It's 1 year later.

Last year, I stated some simple facts re the outlook for the 2 companies.

You dismissed my analysis out of hand with comments such as,

"Don't gloat yet.", and
"Don't get cute.".

I repeat, to improve one's probability of successful investing, it always helps to have a well financed company with a solid pipeline and a probability of those drugs being approved within my lifetime.

QLT delivered; and still has more than a dozen treatments in its pipeline with several undergoing Phase 3 trials right now; and also being for conditions with no other treatment.

This is not gloating. It's not getting cute. It's merely sharing my opinion based upon the research that I have done.

Ian.

Don't gloat yet .. reserve it for at least one year. I never proclaimed to intend to flip this one .. I am a long-term investor. The speculators are in deed losing money. Selling a thin stock into this market is a wise move not, and their losses bring a smile to my face. Don't get cute. I'll see you at the finish line. Tim
