More sickening American hubris and jingoism. Battapaglia might as well be the evil character in Titanic that said that even God couldn't sink this ship.

So God WILL!

99% of analysts with brokerage firms tend to be bullish, particularly when market is in severe downdrafts or going sideways. If volatility (rallies and setbacks) can be extended, there will be volumes of trades and that's good for brokerage firms. The worst thing for a brokerage firm is a bear market with a long base formation (low volume) and that can take a lot of small investors completely out of the market for a long time.
