Rman, let's hope Vector is more influential than Poodles (Attack Poodle included). Generally, warnings have no effect (irritation excluded).

Have a nice weekend.

RMAN,
Mea Culpa. I was like a deer caught in the headlights. I saw the truck bearing down on me but just stood there and got squashed.

Fortunately I made some good personal sales before the crash (BGEN and VISX) but all in all have been hurt pretty darn bad over the past month. I think the small caps are close to the bottom. Many are already dirt cheap. However it is not clear to me that they will rally until the market as a whole regains its composure. The S&P IMO has another 500-1000 points of downside. I think we will see a rally on Monday but it will fade and be forgottn by the weekend. I am a buyer here on the biotechs and some other small caps because they are selling at distressed prices. Top picks are ABSC, INCY, GZTC and CLTR.

WE need some big time biotech success to stimulate the market. In 99 look for some big time approvals including Bexxar, RenaGel and FlueMist (Avirons vaccine)
