INFO FOR ALL IN AZNT: PHYTOGENICS

Cooking with what selectively?
Using what chuckleheaded recipe?

I'm sure everybody remembers the claim that Websters was going to publish the new word 'phytogenics' in their latest and/or forthcoming dictionary.

Consider this mail from Merriam-Webster

phytogenics

While we do enter the adjective "phytogenic" in our unabridged
Webster's Third New International Dictionary (where it's defined as
"of plant origin"), it's unlikely that the noun "phytogenics" will be
entered in a Merriam-Webster dictionary anytime soon. We simply
have not accumulated enough evidence from printed sources for the
use of the word "phytogenics". This lack of evidence is supported by
the results of a search of the Internet and NEXIS (an on-line database
of published materials such as magazines and newspapers). These
searches have turned up only limited use of this word. While
"phytogenics" may be entered at some point in the future, its current
prospects for entry are indeed weak. If you have any other questions
or comments, please feel free to write again.
