as long as CYMI doesn't lose its market share and its technology doesn't become obsolete, CYMI still holds the key to lots of bottlenecks.

Great point; the fact is that there is still an awful lot of growth to come in the chip sector. The long-term risk for Cymer is not the economy going into the tank, it is the competition. Wish there was more discussion on their technology and their competitors on this thread.

BTW I have an explanation for Friday's plunge in price; I BOUGHT THE STOCK ON THURSDAY.

Yeah, Yeah I have been hearing that for over a year now. It started the first time Cymer took a hit from $45 per share. Seems like many people just do not see it that way!
