Suggest that there are a couple of probs re posting list of "Ascendant" companies here. First, the list is an integral part of a copyrighted newsletter. Second, as a practical matter, the list is not what George Gilder or the newsletter is really about. The insights and the trends are "where it is at". For those who find the price of the newsletter somewhat offputting, Forbes ASAP supplement publishes the gist of an earlier newsletter quarterly for those who like to follow George Gilder's ideas. For those who really want the whole bag, suggest the newsletter itself is intellectually stimulating and a way to stretch the mind - i.e. think. IMO if there is financial benefit to be gained, it is more from thinking about the ideas and trends than zeroing in on any particular company listed - which BTW is carefully explained as "examples" of companies in Ascendant Technologies - not a list of recommendations as such. As always, just IMO. Chaz PS I for one am grateful that George Gilder is willing to exchange notes on this thread.
