I should have been more specific for those that havent traded index options before and know when they close....

I have mentioned before on this thread that you can trade the index options after the cash closes..and it can make for some profitable trades ...if it is going in your direction and you know what the MOC orders are...which is why I post them when I hear them on CNBC

look at around 12 on Thursday on the option SPQUJ and the Spx and then compare to Friday's action...and perhaps you will understand what I was talking about

they jack and manipulate the premium on index options to a wide degree....and you can see it if you closely analyze the two days....

and I dont think difference is because of a 24 hour time decay
