Be sure to get some soil samples around the outside of the building to test for chemicals which may be used in manufacture of chemical weapons.

Tucker Anthony Osicom connection

I've been trying to find my notes on this for the last couple of days and I'm coming up empty so I'll pass along what I remember in the hopes that someone can fill in the blanks.

There is a senior VP at Tucker named Phil Westreich who once ran a private investment fund or capaital management company. In late 1996 or so I ran across his name while looking for connections between Builders warehouse, Barry Witz, Saratoga Brands, and Osicom. I believe Mr Westreich at one time listed BWAI, FIBR and Saratoga among his top ten growth picks. I think Westreich Capital was once a significant holder of FIBR shares and possibly once owned some of the convertable preferreds that have since been converted (I'm not certain about this preferred ownership, just going from memory.)

When I first heard the name Tucker Anthony I got a bad feeling in my stomach, I think, because it brought back all that Barry Witz, Brite Lite, Barrons crap that cost me a ton last year. This may be the reason I have been so negative about the rights offering, just a knee jerk reaction to a bad memory.

Anyway, I remembered there was a connection and I thought it was worth mentioning. Maybe someone closer to a Tucker office could follow up?

< If there's anything else you want me to look for, please advise. > Hi Byron -- That is a nice offer you made [to go to the facility] and to look for other things there. We are awaiting the IPO of a private company that has several patents used by MSFT, AT&T, CPQ, etc. named Tut Systems. It Filed for Reg. last month. In reading, I just noticed that Osicom is one of it's sole source suppliers [as is XLNX & others]. We would very much like to know what it is making for them.

We have been out of this stock for a while but still watch -- and have hope for it.

Thanks much.
