Word is that one of the trialing carriers is already on board. Also heard there might be a large 12th carrier starting trials soon. disclaimer: I'm long and this is third hand and I have no way of really verifying these. As for a dateline, it could help some, but it seems to me announcements such as Friday, Markman memos, early carrier announcements (GMGC says don't expect by end of year, but everything changes going forward, they are conservative), hardware bundling announcements, ... are asynchronous events and hard to predict. A dateline may lead you to try to erroneously play an expected event.
