newsday.com wonder if that is some divine intervention telling them to get their act together or else! newsday.com more riots in Indonesia..re no pay as in Russia also excellent editorial in today's nyt by richard pipes professor emeritus of history at Harvard and autor of "the Unknown Lenin..etc title of article "Let Russia Fend for Itself..basically implies that responsibility has to fall back on the Russians to get their house in order..he seems to be assuming no chance of returning to communism.. foreign aid just "excuse for postponing" reforms etc
