good point but there are increased workers striking here search.news.yahoo.com ps any thoughts how margin calls in Canada might be affecting canadian gold stocks? ps. listening to Abba just heard in A richman's world..funny timing ps. also won't they be a lot of spending in high tech to upgrade equipment to jump over year2000 bugs besides software consultants being employed fulltime and overtime,besides infrastructure repairs from the hurricanes etc ..also shouldn't Japan pick up a bit with their infrastructure program? also shouldn't China employ a lot of their laid off people fixing up the damage for the horrendus flooding? etc guess I am expecting reinflation shortly..(especially if defense spending starts to rise again..obviously US is pouring money now into antiterrorist activity here)
