A magic eightball theory indeed. Most people prefer facts. I've lived her for twenty years. I've been doing art history for that long. You can check me out at various library sites should you find yourself capable of doing so. I suggest the Library of Congress and the New York Public Library. Both have online catalogues. The fact that most of the publications listed (articles, of course, are omitted; you'll only get books) are in Italian should tell you something.
