I'm confused - even if we assume the taping was illegal (easy to assume since I haven't heard anyone denying it), isn't Clinton still guilty of doing whatever he did? We're not talking about legalities, since an indictable offense is not and has never been required for an impeachment.

Does what Tripp did wrong make what Clinton did okay? Why do people throw completely irrelevant issues into the discussion?
