Hi Dave,

I appreciate all of your info, but I was curious as to whether or not that you were told that sales of NetOptimizer are "better than expected" directly from the company or was the source of this info derived from another source? Did that same source give you any indication of what was "expected" or how much better is "better"?

Pat

Dave, Rob - I talked with the CEO this morning.
We didn't get far into my list before Ken asked if he could address my concerns and provide details of plans, actions, and activities in the upcoming conference call, which he said would be 9 Sep. I did continue discussing with him the types of questions and areas that should surely be addressed in the conf call. So if he does, in addition to his own agenda of items, we should get a solid feeling about how he plans to lead the company from here. Some of the questions and areas to look for: How he and the company will shore up investor confidence and maximize shareholder value after the recent decline in stock price; status of e.support contracts, new products, ongoing sales of current products, new development and marketing focus; the "severance" package; pursuit of activities in mergers and acquisition. I'm looking forward to hearing his plan of action, since he has a reputation for working with a sense of urgency.

Still long.
