"YOU who is offensive, and not your Christian fairy stories?" Hi Barbara, Hmmmm! "Christian fairy stories?" Let me try to answer your concerns. Are you sure you don't want to revise that statement a bit! If you do not find the Gospel of Jesus and the Words of the Apostles offensive, why do you call them "fairy stories"? I think your words clearly identify your source of irritation---Jesus Christ Crucified for the sins of mankind. These so called "Christian fairy stories" are contained in the historical documents found in the New Testament. Did you know that the Jewish Apostles and disciples who wrote these documents were mostly eyewitnesses to the historical events in the life of Jesus that you call "faiary stories"? Did you know that most of these ancient authors chose to die horrible deaths rather than change their accounts about Jesus of Nazareth? I would strongly suggest that you investigate and read these documents for yourself before you flippantly conclude that they are "fairy stories". Hisotorical research, extensive archaelogical diggings, and careful geographical research have confirmed the authenticity and accuracy of the historical documents in the New Testament. Despite the great and impressive reservoir of knowledge authenticating the New Testament historical writings, their real value value and power can only be appropriated by examing and testing their words for yourself. The central theme of these "Christian fairy stories" is" Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, was miraculously conceived in a young Jewish virgin called Mary and became a man. He did many miracles such as raising the dead and walking on water, and then voluntarily gave himself up to be Crucified for the sins of mankind. Three days after his death he was Resurrected by God the Father. All who believe in him are forgiven their sins, filled with the Holy Spirit and become the sons of God. "Christian fairy stories" ? Or is it Leberating Truth? ps. Are you aware that Christians are offended when you refer to the Holy Word of God in the New Testament as "Christian fairy stories."? In sincered love Emile
