"I assume people following Bob don't have a lot of free cash left at this point"

Good point. Along those lines, it would be foolish for Bob to now issue a "gift horse" given his bullish stance and outright "buy" recommendation on these many closes below his buypoints.

If terrorist detonated a nuclear weapon off the coast of Tel Aviv, what would happen to the stock market? Given it drops a thousand points or so would it be correct to consider that a bear market has begun?

Bob's model is based on fundamental economic conditions stretching over an extended period and can't possibly predict the unpredictable, especially day to day sentiment, breaking news and who said what to whom.

I think the model is sound but the mitigating news is troublesome. I'm concerned about the serious downturn in semiconductors, the loss of exports to SEA, the upcoming Ken Starr presentation to Congress (I think they will have to give serious consideration to impeachment), the lack of change in Japanese economic policies and possibly the proliferation of Russian nuclear weapons.

I think the bears just got lucky for the short term.
