Zat you I saw staggering out of O'Malleys with brown pop bottle in hand trying to threaten cab drivers who were swerving all over the place? What were you celebrating? The market crash? In that case you should wait until October and have a really big toot.

I have a calendar with all the holidays worldwide that one can honour by drinking a few toasts in the evening. It turns out there are 300 such holidays to religiously observe. A free drink of course should qualify for each. "We are Vergians celebrating St. Labilizans birthday
can you bring us a round gratis?" etc...

Malt did more than Milton can to justify God's ways to man!

Malt! Malt's the drink! For those for whom it hurts to think!

10,000 v. kroner to the man who can finish that poem and honourable mention in the Swill Gazette.

Humblh report, marcos, your beer origin story sounds very familiar to me - must be true. ;-)

The beer/bread relationship is well know around the world - one of the reasons why Guinness is called "Irish breakfast"?

Cheers,

Svejk
