well, call me an isolationist, but this is what we get for tying our country's economy to the markets of other nations . . .

tell me, what few items are we in dire need of that are not manufactured right here in the good ol u.s. of a?

i say, let russia go back to communism . .that is where those folks are comfortable . . .they like being taken care of by the state . . . they cannot simply wake up one day and become capitalists! they don't know how and they probably aren't interested much in learning . . .

besides, it would allow our own defense industry to flourish once again, and that means $$$$$$ flowing here at home. . . it would take the russians many years to get back to their former "glory" if they ever did make it back, and the civil war that will likely break out in the event of their economic collapse will decide their future for them. . .

America needs to turn its back on the IMF, NATO, the United Nations, and let Americans work for America and let American money work for Americans . . . by the grace of God, we are able to produce enough goods and services to take care of ourselves and half the world over . . . abandon this damned "global economy" before we drown with all the rest!
