Re: Kitco. From Colin Cambells' site....................

Kitco Downtime Index [August 29th 22:00 GMT]
It has become a topic of conversation at the Kitco Gold chat that, whenever the quote facilities at the Kitco site stop working, or, even worse, the Kitco Gold Chat server stops working, this means that the portents are particularly bad for stock markets (i.e. frightened investors are looking to Kitco for information on the Precious Metals markets as a last-resort "flight to safety" and overload the server software, which appears to be particularly fragile). The Kitco Gold chat site went down for the second time this week on Friday evening (GMT) and is still off-line as I write (Saturday 10 p.m. GMT) even though explicit instructions were given for requesting a re-boot by the site's guru Bart Kitner.
