According to their listing in the SEMI directory, Dainippon Screen makes various kinds of coating equipment: photoresist coating, developing, and stripping, FPD coating and assembly, maskmaking equipment, that sort of thing. US competitors would be companies like FSI International. They are one of the world's largest capital equipment makers, or were before the yen devaluation.
