OTOT I haven't read Weizs„ckers "Fakor 4". Could you give me the complete citation (who published it and when). The Rocky Mountain Institute is a very competent bunch, but they spend more time in reiterating the fact that there is a problem, which we all know, by now. I teach architecture, and I need to find the answers, not just more problems. The three primary strategies seem to be studying vernacular architecture, where they used local materials and avoided the need for major energy consumption, the study of new materials which reduce energy consumption without negative environmental side effects, and the tools which let you predict how a building will perform, in advance, so that you can fine tune building materials and form.

Regards,

Marc

PS. Regarding "Steve, 7000, 7400, 7935 - just numbers" see previous post.
