Christine, that's interesting that you took that emotionally responsive tone. Please tell me, what exactly has Rush said that you vehemently disagree with? Or find, "not very smart". Michael

Christine, I listened to Rush once, last time I was back in the US, and it took me precious few minutes before I snapped "turn that asshole off". I don't even remember what he was talking about, though I do recall that I agreed with his basic premise. What I disliked was his tone - arrogant, insulting, devoid of any notion that any view other than his might be worth listening to. I got the definite impression that if I was ever subjected to his conversation at a dinner table, I'd be seized with an overpowering urge to shove a turkey drumstick down his throat - even if I agreed with him. I'm willing to listen to just about any opinion if the person observes certain decencies, and shows some capacity for independent thought. If they don't, why bother? Steve
