Market Gems four-pronged attack for helping you through the Market Crisis I've been organizing four avenues for updating readers of what's up and what's down and news etc. Silicon Investor is not known for really quick updates, for obvious reasons and not the least getting messages like: page not found, the server is busy (well so am I and time is money!!) 1) Silicon Investor I'll be posting very frequently throughout the trading day on positions, news, stocks looking attractive, (except that which pertains to subscriber's watch lists), calls and puts on index options, opinions, answering e-mail ASAP, and other miscellaneous during market hours. (Please allow me time for my personal trading so I might miss a 1/2 hour in the morning, but my friends at AB Watley I'm able to get my trades in very quickly in the morning) 2)Market Gems Bulletin Board .. during this 'crisis' free to everyone will be intraday updates, probably faster than Silicon Investor since it's my personal bulletin board and more focused on the stocks themselves. I;ll be including posts on index options both calls and puts. 3)Market Gems Real-Time Chat room .. this is perhaps the place for quickest access to actual trades as they happen. Also it's great to interact with fellow traders. I can't be in the room all day, athough we have already gotten together quite a group from the 'best of SI' and soon the best of mIRC (#daytraders).. and best of Shark Attack (AOL).. Also free for everyone. But constrictions on my license fee is only good for 100. But this is really for traders who can dedicate at least 1/2 day to trading. 4) Market Gems nearly real time data feed This is also only for subscribers but it will have complete up the the minute earnings reports, upgrades downgrades from 8:45 - 10:30 every morning. This is he best time in the morning. Allowing for time, I'll try to update it during the day with 'reminders' on the bulletin board. Sometimes you might want to trade a 'story' stock when all else fails. The only thing Market Gems will not do is giving you strategies and trading systems for entry/exits. There are other threads that are too willing to give you lots of strategies. I've become skeptical of late to many of them, as they HAVE NOT HELD UP AS SUCCESSFUL STRATEGIES for this correction. The more complex they are, the more skeptical I am. For my own strategies look at marketgems.com they are simple, straightforward and in easy to understand terms. I feel you are all capable of reading books on trading, so you don't need to be impressed by 'tech talk'...and books that are regurgitated back to you. As things settle down, I'll continue the Well-Informed Trader on Market Gems.. We will have a little change however, as I will be accepting 'articles' from other traders and they will be included in that column.
