John; Yes I am still alive. Also it is true many stocks are down but that is typical in July and August especially for Mining stocks. I also have a distrust for many BB stocks, but I feel good about IKAR because of the IMF situation otherwise I would not be in this one. The IMF always expects money to be paid back and Tajik has not many sources to do so other than the mining scenario. IKAR owns and runs this project it's not like they have part interest in the property they are involved with. I believe the country holds 10% but at the same time I believe the percentages will change if a JV or an influx of capital comes in to do a full scale mining operation. Many of the current mining companies are spread out (owning interest's in other properties) and under capitalized. From what I gather from talking to the Company and the news releases this is not the direction IKAR Is taking. They want a full scale mining operation. Some of the summer program reads as follows; The 1998 summer work program includes drilling, retrenching, clean up of previous trenches, tunnels and adits as well as an in-depth study and analysis of required hydroelectric power sources, based on available water supplies. The full assembly of the base camp, as well as further road construction, should also be completed during this period. A third party detailed engineering analysis of all completed Russian mappings, documentation, plus the additional Kilborn findings will be amalgamated into a pre-feasibility study. I apologize if I came on to strong with regards to your post, but this has not been a very good few months with me especially IKAR. I have watched the trading daily and I have a good feeling why the price is so depressed and I do not blame the Company other than a lack of news........ Hopefully this will change over the next few months and everything will start to fall into place. If in fact the short or shorts think they are going to frustrate shareholders into selling I wish them lots of luck.... but again thats my opinion:-)
