Mike: Are you the same Michael Burke who used to talk about CEFS on Prodigy? Do you think CIEN will go up from the $35 range? Can you tell me what you think it might go to based on the merger being approved?

Thanks Dennis

Mike, interesting enough, CNBS turned bearish. <g>

I just heard this former prema-bull Ralph B.
giving few technical reasons why stuff is
bad. Hey, they couldn't analyse sh*t on the
way up, why should it change now. <G>

I still remember one of the twins wondering
why AMAT is going down after beating estimates
2+ years back. It was so dumb that I still
recall it two years later. As part of that
"great" eps report they mentioned BtB of
something like 0.7 or so. <BG>

So yes, we do run into these few used
car sales women that tell us that the DOW
at 8000 is undervalued but most can only
do as mush as follow a trend.

BTW, just to remind everyone, I went to
close to 100% cash position in 7/97
when the DOW around 8000 based on grotesque
valuations. Fundamentals are much worse
now.
