Harold, the current market has sure been a "wake up call" for my buy and hold methodology. A person can work so hard to build up nice gains and they can disappear so quickly. It sort of reminds me of the cycle illustrated by Bill Gothard.

I. Riches - God " . . . giveth thee power to get wealth (Deut 8:18)

II. Tests - "... If riches increase, set not your heart upon them (PS 62:10)

III. Poverty - ". . The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord" (Job 1:21)

IV. Faith - ". . .Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith (James 2:5)

Further he says: "God does not view riches or poverty as permanent conditions in the life of an individual, family, or nation. They are variable, and they are related to higher purposes which God achieves through them. Men's Manual Vol II. p. 96.

I need to set my affections more on things above. <g> Will be moving to CA in a couple of months and looking for my next "assignment". I thought full time trading was where it was at, nadda. The bull market was fun, but I'm not so sure about the bear market. <G> I may have to move on to greener pastures (fairways maybe?) until it settles down.

I'm looking for a bounce off 8000 Monday (we are very over sold) and a possible run at 8300 resistance some time this week and probably a retest of 8000 thereafter. Unless the buying mood picks up we may be looking at mid-7000s.
