Tony,

$1M (may be between $1M and $2M) is a classical VC first round participation for a SW project, after let's say $500K in seed funding.

At this project level there are usually two VCs at most. So $1M is normal.

I keep thinking that there is a fast market growing around what we call "nomadic objects" in Europe, for instance a camera bundled with cellular phone capabilities, that allows a kid at school to send in a burst - compression hence low telecom cost - a picture to another friend. Northern european telecommunication companies are working on this. A lot of products are targeting relation ships between older people in communities and the rest of the population : I have seen a nice prototype helping a kid at school make sure his grand-father is taking his pills at a specific time : "grandpamotchi"(EEC Esprit project "i3net" Maypole).

All those new products are candidates for IRAM, more than RMBS.

Regards,

Michel

Hi Tony,

Do you have any information on Intel's Developers Forum in September (read somewhere that it would be in September).

I would be very surprised if Rambus did not make major presentations.

Would appreciate any information you may have.

Regards,
Ibexx
