Update on the Digital Research monitors previously mentioned....

Computer City again has them on sale this weekend, til I don't know when, for $500 for the 19", and $250 for the 17". There are also rebates on these monitors, $100 and $50, respectively. (Don't know the expirations on the rebates, either. Just saw the newspaper ad)

I have two of the 19" ones, and love them. They are made by MAG Innovision.

Princeton EO 900 ---- best 19" monitor

I like how it was rated for text, particularly.

Cost is around $550.
pricewatch.com
I've also found that if you go to a monitor web site, you can
find distributors in your local that will match or even beat
prices at pricewatch.

The E0 90 has now been replaced with even a better one- the EO 900
which has a slightly more improved Hitachi CRT, and a streamlined
look.

If something goes wrong with the monitor in the first year,
they send another one to you overnight express and pay for
the old to be shipped back. 3 yr parts/warranty/crt.

This is a better monitor than the ADI 6P that I was looking at,
and much better than the Viewsonics and Iyama. Personally ,I also decided to only look at TCO '95 standard radiation control monitors-
warranty to my health. The Digital Research monitors are a great
bang for the buck if you are wanting to save some money. If you want
the very best, though, it will be the Princeton EO 900.

Let your pocket book and eyes decide.
