Yes, I think that would be very true. Especially since the hedge funds are massively short commodities and short the Yen and foreign markets. We already know the Chinese are taking them on in Hong Kong. If something like that, exchange controls in Japan, or some other surprise catches them, the short covering rally in commodities could be quite something. Gold more than all because, in your mentioned case, paper money in dire times would again be headed for the toilet.

George, you see, it looks like you were just one day early. London was closed yesterday.
Perhaps my 125 yen before 150 may be right after all. Was a close call there. That should be a big plus for gold.
Today's performance of the Yen may indicate all that is wrong with Japan is in the market,while the dollar has its troubles coming.
