Richard, Thanks to Internet access problems and a commercial power failure, I'm a little late posting the Barron's bit this week. Sorry about that. Barron's GMI was 317.44 on 8/27, up from 281.93 last week and the majority of the way back to the previous week's 330.32. With the POG up to 285.00 (9/4) the ratio was 1.11; while up significantly, still in very bullish territory and strongly suggests that gold stocks will be a lot higher by the Fall of 99. Cheers, Larry
