I am firmly convinced that your perception is quite correct, my friend. My point was not to try and change a mind that cannot be changed, but to suggest that there could be a simple, rational reason for behavior that first appeared confusing. I believe that if study teaches us anything, it teaches that the search for spiritual truth is a journey that will end unpleasantly for those who, despite both their justification, and the obvious and visible consequences of their behavior, persist in doing harmful things on purpose. If it were otherwise, what would be the point? Perhaps the most dangerous wolf is the one that is dressed as a lamb.
